'Nutrition During Pregnancy' information sessions

Did you know that what you eat when you are pregnant can influence the health of your child not only at birth but when they are an adult? Contrary to the old saying “Eating for 2”, whilst your body only needs a small amount of extra energy, your need for some nutrients such as iron, iodine and protein are much higher during pregnancy – double in some cases! There are also foods that you need to avoid or restrict during pregnancy.
